Preparing Your Property For Tropical Storms and Hurricane Season
Often overlooked, having your trees and palms pruned professionally before hurricane season is one of the easiest ways to ensure the safety and well-being of yourself, your family, and your property. Earthcare’s Tree Care Services will strategically prune vegetation, branches, and limbs of your trees and palms that could quickly become dangerous or deadly objects during a bad storm. Care will be taken to:
- Secure any newly installed materials such as palms or trees as needed
- Remove dead branches that can fall on houses, cars, and people
- Exceedingly long branches will be shortened
- Branches with cracks will be removed or shortened
- Branches with the same diameter as the trunk will be shortened
- Outer perimeter of trees with a large canopy will be thinned, making your tree less likely to be blown over
- Branches close to roof will be removed or shortened
